From the time of the first great piano superstar, Franz Liszt, to more recent heroes like the inimitable Liberace, the piano has held the spotlight. Whether in grand concert halls, intimate salons, or your very own living room, the piano has taken centre stage as a favourite instrument.

Franz Liszt once advertised that his concerts would be illuminated by 1000 candles. Liberace was illuminated by his own dazzling brilliance, and this brilliance is what you will see when Glenn Amer takes to the stage to present his tribute to The Great Piano Showmen.

Prepare to be enthralled by awe-inspiring renditions of Franz Liszt’s Liebestraum, regarded as the most famous piano piece of all time, and the hauntingly beautiful Warsaw Concerto. There will also be Glenn’s artfully arranged Tribute to Liberace, which includes Liberace’s theme song, I’ll Be Seeing You, plus stunning renditions of My Blue Heaven, Tea for Two and other much-loved piano pieces. 

An extraordinary highlight of this performance is the opportunity for the audience to participate. Much like his idol, Liberace, Glenn invites the crowd to share their personal favourites, and he composes a Concerto of Requests on the spot, creating a unique and memorable experience for everyone present.
