RPAC provides an Induction Loop Hearing Assistance system in the Concert Hall for patrons who require hearing assistance. Headset receivers are available for collection prior to the performance from the Box Office, or patrons can use their own hearing aids to access the system by switching them to the T position.

The Induction Loop Hearing Assistance System is available for all performances in The Concert Hall. Please book tickets via telephone or in person at the Box Office so that our staff can advise you on the best seating for picking up the Loop System, and so that they can book you a headset receiver if one is needed.

Please allow extra time prior to the start of the performance to collect the receiver from the Box Office.

The Box Office is also fitted with a hearing loop system.

If you have mobility difficulties please contact the RPAC Box Office so we can accommodate your needs. Please let us know if you need to:

  • if you need to avoid stairs, or

If you have any of the above requirements please book tickets via RPAC Box Office by phone, on 3829 8131, or in person. We keep special seats aside specifically for those people with mobility difficulties and disabilities.  These seats are subject to availability and are not available online.

Wheelchair seating can be provided on the upper and middle sections of the Concert Hall and can be accommodated in all other Centre venues. There is lift access to the balcony in the Concert Hall for people that are able to move from their wheel chair or walker into a venue seat.

Auslan interpretation is provided for a select number of performances and workshops and this will be included in the more information page for the performance or event.
