Following last year’s spectacular Christmas showcase, the world-renowned Brisbane Excelsior Band returns to the RPAC stage to spread holiday cheer once again under the masterful direction of Howard Taylor. With over a century of musical excellence – including ten Australian and three New Zealand National Championships – this celebrated ensemble guarantees an unforgettable night of festive brilliance and musical magic.

This year’s program, The Wonder of Christmas, brings together a wonderful mix of classic carols, joyful sing-alongs, and lively seasonal favourites. Audiences can look forward to the grandeur of Christmas Overture, the warmth of The Christmas Song, and beloved carols such as O Come All Ye Faithful and Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

With a special guest vocalist joining the band once again, this concert captures everything we love about the festive season — the joy of music, the spirit of community, and the unmistakable brilliance of brass.
