A ballet and repertoire class for adults and seniors with standing and seated options, suitable for all experience and ability levels.
Designed for those new to ballet or seeking a supported, adapted movement experience.
Discover the joy of ballet in a welcoming, supportive environment with Adult Ballet for All Abilities, an inclusive and accessible ballet and repertoire class designed for people of any experience, age, or physical ability.
This gently-paced session follows the structure of a traditional ballet class. Participants will be prompted with standing, seated and/or adapted movement options as required, making the classes ideal for adults and seniors who are new to ballet or seeking a supported and inclusive movement experience.
Queensland Ballet Teaching Artists will guide participants through ballet-inspired exercises that explore coordination, balance, strength, musicality and self-expression, with clear options and adaptions provided so everyone can move in a way that feels safe and empowering.
No prior dance experience is required. All participants will be supported to participate at their own pace in a positive, encouraging atmosphere that celebrates curiosity, confidence and connection. Come along to experience the beauty of ballet, reimagined for all adult and seniors’ bodies and abilities.
