The Fabulous Blues Brothers & Aretha is a high-octane tribute show celebrating the legendary music, comedy, and soul of Jake and Elwood Blues, alongside the timeless power of Aretha Franklin.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic 1980 film and Saturday Night Live, this production delivers a dynamic fusion of rhythm, blues, soul, and gospel in one electrifying live concert experience.
Brad Kendrick leads the charge as Joliet Jake Blues, bringing more than two decades of international experience performing Blues Brothers shows across cruise lines and at Universal Studios Japan. His powerhouse vocals and commanding presence capture Jake’s raw energy, humour, and unmistakable sound.
Tristan James steps into the role of Elwood Blues, delivering cool deadpan charm, sharp comedic timing, and infectious stage energy. As co-producer, Tristan’s attention to detail ensures the show stays authentic while remaining fast-paced and audience-focused.
Joining the duo is American-born vocalist Asabi Goodman as Aretha Franklin. With acclaimed performances in CHICAGO and Hairspray! The Musical, Asabi brings gospel fire, soul depth, and emotional authenticity to Aretha’s legendary catalogue, creating unforgettable musical moments throughout the show.
