Hosted by internationally recognised guitarist Michael Fix, the concert highlights the skill, precision and creativity that have made this series a favourite with Queensland audiences. Joining him are Jason McGregor and Craig Claxton, two highly respected musicians with distinct styles.
McGregor is a national fingerstyle champion known for his versatile musicianship and soulful vocal work. His performances have taken him across Australia and internationally, earning industry awards and a strong following.
Claxton brings over 50 years of experience, shaped by blues, rock and jazz influences. He has performed with a long list of celebrated Australian artists and remains a sought-after guitarist, educator and session player.
Together, Fix, McGregor and Claxton present a diverse program that spans multiple styles and influences. The 2026 Acoustic Guitar Spectacular offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience three accomplished players share the stage, each bringing their own voice and musical history to this much-loved annual event.
