Most months, Redland Performing Arts Centre offers a giveaway to RPAC eNews subscribers via the Monthly eNews. Where a giveaway is featured, the following Terms and Conditions apply.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Organiser
    Redland Performing Arts Centre (“RPAC”), operated by Redland City Council ABN 86 058 929 428 of 91–93 Bloomfield Street, Cleveland QLD 4163.

  2. Competition name
    RPAC eNews Giveaway (“the Competition”).

  3. Competition period
    The Competition commences from the time and date the relevant RPAC eNews is distributed and closes on the date and time specified in that eNews (“Competition Period”).

  4. Eligibility

    • Entry is open to any person who is a current subscriber to RPAC eNews.
    • Entrants must be aged 12 years or over.
    • Entrants under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter.
    • Employees of Redland City Council are eligible to enter, provided they are RPAC eNews subscribers.

  5. How to enter
    To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Competition Period:

    • Email RPACCompetitions@redland.qld.gov.au;
    • Include the name of the eligible performance they wish to win as the email subject line; and
    • Include their full name and a daytime contact phone number in the body of the email.

  6. Entry limits

    • One entry per person and per email address is permitted.
    • Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be deemed invalid.

  7. Entry validity
    Entries must be received within the Competition Period. RPAC accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected or undelivered entries, including those affected by technical difficulties or network issues.

  8. Prize

    • The prize is one (1) double pass to the performance selected by the entrant and featured in the relevant RPAC eNews (“the Prize”), unless otherwise stated.
    • The winner may not change the performance they selected as part of their entry.
    • Tickets are valid for the selected performance only.
    • The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

  9. Show cancellations
    In the unlikely event that a performance is cancelled, the Prize:

    • Cannot be transferred to another performance; and
    • Cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.

  10. Number of winners

    • The Competition is conducted for a single winner by default.
    • RPAC reserves the right, at its discretion, to draw more than one winner for an eNews giveaway.

  11. Prize draw

    • The prize draw will take place at Redland Performing Arts Centre, 2–16 Middle Street, Cleveland QLD, at the date and time specified in the relevant RPAC eNews.
    • Winner(s) will be selected by random draw using a random number generation process corresponding to the order of valid entries.
    • The draw will be conducted in the presence of an independent witness.

  12. Judging
    RPAC’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  13. Winner notification

    • Winner(s) will be contacted by phone and/or email by the RPAC Box Office or authorised RPAC staff using the contact details provided in their entry.
    • Contact will be made to notify the winner and to arrange booking of the Prize into the performance selected at the time of entry.
    • Winners will not be publicly announced.
    • RPAC accepts no responsibility if a winner cannot be contacted.

  14. Unclaimed prizes
    If a winner does not claim or accept the Prize by the time specified by RPAC, the Prize may be forfeited and RPAC may conduct a redraw at its discretion.

  15. Verification and disqualification
    RPAC reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who:

    • Submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
    • Tampers with the entry process; or
    • Engages in conduct that is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or damaging to the goodwill or reputation of RPAC or Redland City Council.

  16. Liability
    To the extent permitted by law, RPAC excludes all liability for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition or the Prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  17. Technical issues
    RPAC is not responsible for any technical errors, delays, interruptions, omissions, failures, theft or unauthorised access relating to entries or the administration of the Competition.

  18. Changes to the Competition
    If for any reason the Competition is unable to be conducted as planned due to circumstances beyond RPAC’s control, RPAC reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any applicable regulatory requirements.

  19. Privacy
    Personal information collected in connection with this Competition will be handled in accordance with Redland Performing Arts Centre’s Privacy Policy, available at rpac.com.au.
    Information is collected for the purpose of administering this Competition. Entrants may request access to their personal information held by RPAC.

  20. Acceptance of terms
    Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
