Shaun Parker & Company is one of Australia’s most far-reaching dance companies, having toured extensively internationally to 21 counties across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States.

This exhilarating and critically acclaimed dance company is renowned for their integration of stimulating choreographic forms, arresting musical scores and theatrical invention.

Join us for these FREE performances during the school holidays, and why not make a day of it and also book into a hip-hop dance workshop for only $5.

HOVER - Free pop-up performance

Where: Library Square, Cleveland CBD*

Join us for an epic hoverboard performance inspired by street dance, circus and classic boy-band hits!

Roving and dancing on hoverboards, Shaun Parker & Company’s exceptional dance and physical theatre artists pay homage to boy bands throughout history.

The fun and high-energy choreography in HOVER is inspired by the circus and street dance forms such as breakdance, tutting, popping and krumping, and integrated with visually compelling hoverboards. This show is set to a variety of music genres, including pop hits from across the ages. This remarkable ensemble of professional dancers will also improvise dance moves responding to the surroundings and specific spectators.

* Please note: in the event of wet weather this performance will instead take place in the RPAC Auditorium.

TROLLEYS - Free pop-up performance

Where: RPAC Auditorium
Time: 2pm

You’ll never look at a shopping trolley the same again …

Part dance. Part ballet. Part outdoor spectacle.  TROLLEYS is a new ballet for five supermarket trolleys featuring Shaun Parker & Company’s exceptional dancers – Samuel Beazley, Joel Fenton, Olivia Hadley, Romain Hassanin and Libby Montilla.

Five shopping trolleys randomly appear in a public space. Two meet and fall in love. One grapples to find a friend. Three others revolt and ignite a dance of anarchy.

Trolleys spin, glide and slide in this highly physical, humorous outdoor performance where high-octane contemporary dance, acrobatics and street dance merge with the extraordinary world of trolleys.

Score composed by Nick Wales.

Cost: $5
