Come sing and dance along to The Beatles’ iconic last ever live performance – The Rooftop Concert!
On a freezing cold winter’s day in 1969, The Beatles gave their last ever live performance on top of their Apple building headquarters in downtown London. Known famously as The Rooftop Concert, this iconic performance is being brought back to life by The Honey Sliders as a respectful homage to the greatest band in rock n roll history.
Far from being Beatles impersonators, The Honey Sliders are a band made up of some of the most respected musicians in Australia, including the multiple award-winning Danny Widdicombe (Bernard Fanning, Tim Rogers, Shane Nicholson), Dan Mansfield (You Am I, Gin Club), Bos Borley (Bernard Fanning, The Resin Dogs), and Ben Carstens (Mexico City). The Honey Sliders meticulously recreate the songs and sounds that have touched the hearts of so many people around the world.
As history would have it, the local London constabulary cut The Rooftop Concert short on that fateful day, so The Honey Sliders will also be presenting a long set of Beatles hits and rarities – a real treat for all Beatles fans.
Come and enjoy The Beatles’ Rooftop Concert, along with a chronological set of Beatles tunes that’ll have your jewellery rattling and your toes tapping.
