Franky Smart and the Sweet Thunder Jazz Orchestra will swing into year’s end with this very special Christmas concert

This year our very special Christmas gift to you will be a festive Musical Melodies concert featuring a hand-picked selection of some of the finest talent Queensland has to offer.

Your host for the concert is the utterly charming international songstress and dancer Franky Smart. She will be backed by the incredible sounds of the 13-piece Sweet Thunder Jazz Orchestra, who have been wowing Redlands Coast audiences with their legendary Springtime Swing concerts on Sunday afternoons.

Franky and the band will be playing a stocking-full of big-band Christmas classics, from the timeless magic of Silent Night and Oh Come all Ye Faithful, to rollicking renditions of Let it Snow and Jingle Bell Rock and so many more Christmas favourites.

Franky will be joined on stage by some very special guests including multi-award-winning singer, conductor and founder of Choir of Hard Knocks Jonathon Welch AM as well as lauded Quandamooka bluesman Adam James. RPAC’s very own Creative Services Manager Mr. Brad Rush may also make an appearance alongside some other familiar faces from the Redlands Coast community. We promise this will be a concert to remember!

Gather your family and friends, book your tickets and join us in the Concert Hall for a delightful Christmas concert filled to the brim with laughter and song! This will be a joyous way to kick-off December as we all head towards the end of another year and Swing into Christmas.
