Listen Up! A wild bunch of free-wheeling wordsmiths of wisdom are hitting the stage for an afternoon of slam poetry with a difference.

Gran Slam LIVE! features comedy, music, and poetry that will have you laughing, cheering and left in awe, as a razor-sharp collective of poetic stars aged between 65- and 99-years young battle it out for a cash and publishing prize.

Hosted by award-winning comedian and Redlands Coast favourite, Jenny Wynter (Funny Mummies, A Very Mario Christmas), this will be a joyful afternoon you will not want to miss!

If you’re 65+ with a story to share, a declaration to make, or an opinion to be penned, Gran Slam will inspire you to write and perform poetry that moves and inspires.

Sign up to a free six-week online workshop program, led by some of Australia’s most renowned spoken word poets and special guests, then attend a face to face masterclass to ‘polish up your performance skills’ at RPAC prior to the Gran Slam LIVE showcase event.

No experience is necessary, just passion and enthusiasm to have a go!
