The 2010 performance season features some of Australia’s finest performers, who are acclaimed both in Australia and around the world. Opera Queensland, the Queensland Youth Orchestra2, internationally acclaimed guitarist Karin Schaupp & the Flinders Quartet are all coming to your Centre this year. Well loved actress Joan Sydney heads up a fine cast in the smash hit comedy Dirty Dusting and Shorter & Sweeter the biggest little play festival in the world, will showcase some of the best of Australian theatre in a unique 10-minute play formula that is bound to please every taste. Flamenco dance, the ancient art of taiko drumming, dance & song, cutting edge indigenous theatre, rap, hip hop, beat boxing, percussion, break dancing and more are all part of a wonderful years entertainment. Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) is pleased to present the 2010 Musical Melodies program. The 2009 Musical Melodies program, continued to be a big hit with patrons, with sell out concerts firmly establishing the concert series, popular position as one of the centre’s most enjoyed programs. Musical Melodies is a regular, annual performance series presented by the Centre, primarily designed to offer three to four high quality performances for the Redland community’s seniors and pensioners at affordable prices. Everyone is welcome at the Musical Melodies performances and the productions will no doubt be of interest to and be enjoyed by patrons of all ages.

Redland Performing Arts Centre is dedicated to offering high quality live theatre experiences for school children of all ages as part of the Arts Centre’s annual performance program. Productions that are part of the schools program will be held on school weekdays and will be marketed directly to schools with groups attending as part of organised visits to the Redland Performing Arts Centre.
