Michelle Ealson is a local Redland artist who moved her from New Zealand 9 years ago. Her art began at the age of ten when she was enrolled in night classes and she learned to draw with charcoal. Once she discovered her love of art she continued with night classes all through school and moved towards acrylic painting, taught by a lovely Egyptian teacher.
Michelle put down her paints for a long time until she had her two beautiful boys where they sparked her creative soul again. She started painting at night again when her boys slept and after her first exhibition called Anthropoid she promised herself to keep painting and drawing.
So here she exhibits art works from her travels throughout Croatia and Greece where she sailed the ocean. She found herself out there and became very humbled about life, and in turn the amazing culture of the country, the people and the food encouraged her to paint her memories she was lucky enough to of had experienced.
She asks you to join her in the amazing colours of Greece and Croatia with a special lone Northern Territory painting that she commissioned for a dear friend.
