Redland Performing Arts Centre is pleased to present the 2017 Musical Melodies program, which once again offers local Seniors and Pensioners a great variety of concerts throughout the year at affordable prices. This year there are four Musical Melodies concerts, plus the inclusion of the award-winning play Shirley Valentine.
Everyone is welcome at Musical Melodies performances and the concert series caters for guests who may have special needs or require assistance when attending events at the Centre. The performances are conveniently timed on a Wednesday at 11am and on Saturdays at 2pm in the Concert Hall; with shows running for approximately an hour and a half with no interval, whilst the Shirley Valentine play will run for one hour and 55 minutes, including a brief 15 minute interval.
The series has become very popular with patrons with full houses for most shows, so make sure you book your tickets early for the great concerts ahead in 2017!
Please join us from one hour prior to each performance, for a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.
The Sundial Café will also be open on the Piazza prior to each concert, serving a range of hot and cold beverages from $3. Light snacks will also be available for purchase from the café. No bar facilities will be available during Musical Melodies concerts.

DUSTY AND THE DIVAS

Escape to Greece for the morning with this much loved comedy-classic.
The award-winning play by Willy Russell is the story of a rather ordinary middle-class English housewife who rediscovers herself on a vacation to Greece.
The talented and vibrant Mandi Lodge, star of Patsy Cline, helps bring Willy Russell’s Shirley to life with much humour, warmth and empathy.
LANZA SINGS AGAIN

Enjoy the incredible brand-new production of the life story and absolute hit of Mario Lanza when Lanza Sings Again performs.
The show will be packed with great highlights of the man once dubbed the greatest tenor in the world and will feature all of your favourite Lanza songs including Be My Love, Because You’re Mine, La Donna E Mobile and Strangers in Paradise. Starring popular star tenor Roy Best and international soprano Alison Jones, this will be a morning to remember.
BELLADIVA - THE SONGBIRD PROJECT
