THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED
As a result of COVID-19 the performance scheduled for Friday 18 September 2020 has been postponed.
We are working with the artists to schedule a new date for this performance in 2021.
Once this new date has been confirmed the RPAC Box Office will then contact all ticket holders to transfer bookings to this new date or offer a refund.
There are a large number of events that have been impacted by this temporary closure, so we ask for your patience while we work through ticket transfers, credit notes and refunds. For more information visit the RPAC COVID-19 update page HERE >
Enjoy the sweet choral sounds of Oceania
The Pacific Choirs Project is a FREE one-day choral event showcasing the diverse songs of Australian-based Pasifika and First Nations choirs. This concert will be a joy-filled celebration and exchange of their sweet voices and instruments not to be missed.
You can look forward to magnificent singing from 10 choirs including the Yugambeh Youth Choir, the Heilani School of Arts and the Pacific Climate Warriors. Representing PNG, Kiribati, Tonga, the Cook Islands and many more islands, the sounds of log drums and ukelele will fill the concert hall with delight, as you experience this unique cultural exchange through song and music.
You can also enjoy an exhibition by Pasifika artists in the Concert Hall foyer and discover market stalls in the Piazza.
