Black Square Quartet Concert - SOLD OUT

Please note: unfortunately due unforeseen circumstances, Adam Cadell is not able to perform at the upcoming Black Square Quartet concert and has been replaced by the equally talented and exceptional Charlotte Burbrook de Vere.
 
The concert will now feature Camille Barry (violin), Mike Patterson (violin), Charlotte Burbrook de Vere (viola) and Dan Curro (cello).
 
The program has also been changed to the following:
Carl Vine - Knips Suite (String Quartet No.1)
Thomas Green - String Quartet No.1
Erik Satie - Jack in the Box
 
PREVIOUS PROGRAM:
 
Three by Five will feature three, five-movement suites inspired by dance. Australian Carl Vine’s quirky Knips Suite will open the concert, followed by Czech composer Erwin Schulhoff’s neo-Baroque Dance Suite Five Pieces for String Quartet. Bringing the concert to a magnificent end will be a world premiere performance of a new suite for string quartet and dance, commissioned by Black Square Quartet (BSQ) and composed by Brisbane’s own Thomas Green.
