The Australian School of the Arts (ASTA)

Due to the current Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak RPAC will be temporarily closed as a precautionary measure to protect our audience and artists, and to help in efforts to reduce the spread of the virus.
As a result this event will not be going ahead.
The Australian School of the Arts are looking for an alternative date for this performance later in the year.
The RPAC Box Office will be processing refunds for this event.
  • If you purchased tickets online, you will receive an automatic refund within the next 21-30working days to your nominated credit card.
  • If you purchased your tickets directly from the Box Office, our team will be in contact with you within the next 10-15 business days to organise your refund or credit note.
There are a large number of events that have been impacted by this temporary closure, so we ask for your patience while we work through ticket transfers, credit notes and refunds. For more information visit the RPAC COVID-19 update page HERE >
If you are interested in attending The Australian School of the Arts’ production of 'Wicked The Musical' later this year, please email to receive updated information and to be put on a waiting list.

Prepare to be spellbound!

Since opening on Broadway in 2003, Wicked has taken the world of musical theatre by storm. Now, this award-winning production will be brought to the RPAC stage by ASTA.

Long before Dorothy dropped in, two other young girls meet at school in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. These two unlikely friends grow to become the
Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

Along this journey, we meet some familiar faces – Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion and the Flying Monkeys. The Ruby Slippers make an appearance; we learn who the Wicked Witch of the East really was and just how that tornado really got started. Was it an accident or something more sinister?
