Queensland Symphony Orchestra have been able to reschedule their visit to RPAC and will now perform on Thursday 25 February 2021 at 7pm.
Due to the change in performance date they will now also present a different program.
The new program features a stunning collection of orchestral pieces inspired by nature, and will be conducted by Umberto Clerici.
- Mendelssohn Hebrides Overture
- Vaughan-Williams The Lark Ascending (soloist: Warwick Adeney, violin)
- Grieg Peer Gynt Suite No.1 “Morning Mood” and “In The Hall of the Mountain King”
- Beethoven Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral”
If you had tickets for the August 2020 performance, the RPAC Box Office is in the process of contacting all ticket holders to transfer bookings to this new 2021 date or offer a refund.
