Our annual open day will take place this Sunday 10 March.
This will be your chance to see behind-the-scenes at RPAC as you go on a back stage tour of the areas not open to the public. These tours will be hosted by the RPAC Creative Arts Manager Zane Trow, who will give you a glimpse into the history of RPAC and what goes on in each of these areas during performances. From the control room, to the rehearsal spaces through to the chance to walk across the RPAC stage, this will be your opportunity to see a different side of RPAC.
Our artists-in-residence will also be offering a wide range of family-friendly activities throughout the day. You can join us for an open rehearsal with the Redland Sinfonia or a sing-along with Redland City Choir. You can also get hands-on and enjoy puppet making with indelabilityarts, learn some circus tricks with Flipside Circus, or try your hand at natural fibre weaving with Carly Kotynski.
For those wanting to take a back stage tour, please go to the RPAC Box Office when you first arrive and they will book you into the next available tour. No bookings are required for any of the other activities, so please feel free to make yourself at home and enjoy the activities on offer at RPAC throughout the day.
