Handel's Messiah - SOLD OUT
Redland City Choir

A beautiful choral treat to get you into the Christmas Spirit

Proudly presented by the Redland City Choir, this great oratorio, will be led by esteemed international Conductor Dr David Keith, and will feature an exceptional cast of soloists including Kym Hebblewhite (soprano), Anita Taylor (alto), David Muller (tenor) and Scott Muller (baritone).

From its first performances in Dublin in April 1742, Handel's Messiah has steadily increased in favour and now holds a reputation as one of Western music’s great monuments. It is one of only a handful of works dealing with the totality of the Christian message. One reason for Messiah's ability to speak to every generation is found in its libretto, which consists entirely of scripture.

The famous Hallelujah Chorus is just one of the many highlights of this beautiful choral work. Filled with passion and emotion, this timeless masterpiece is the perfect way to welcome in and celebrate the Christmas season.
