Concerto for Harmony and Presto
Redland Performing Arts Centre

Can you make amazing music out of pots, pans, bric-a-brac, and spanners? Yes!

The team behind Lily Can’t Sleep and Hurry Up and Wait return with their latest enchanting and fun show for children 3+ and their families.

Packed full of comedy, puppetry, clown, play, and bric-a-brac-turned-musical instruments, Concerto for Harmony and Presto tells a compelling story that explores music as a communication tool for overcoming difference.

Harmony likes to have everything just so. One day her ordered existence is disturbed: Presto arrives with his cart bursting with a wild array of bric-a-brac. Harmony sees a cart full of junk. Presto sees infinite possibilities – precious objects that when put together just the right way create extraordinary music!

Despite their difference Harmony and Presto must find a way to share their space and play together, resulting in an extraordinary musical extravaganza that will be loved by the whole family.

‘It’s just really, really charming and the audience just loved it … a beautiful, charming, a bit silly, and delightful production.’ Susan Heatherington ABC Radio
