2018 Musical Melodies Concert Series - NOW ON SALE!

Five fabulous performances to choose from this year! 

Redland Performing Arts Centre is pleased to present the 2018 Musical Melodies program, which once again offers local Seniors and Pensioners a great variety of concerts throughout the year at affordable prices.
Everyone is welcome at Musical Melodies performances and the concert series caters for guests who may have special needs or require assistance when attending events at the Centre. The performances are conveniently timed on a Wednesday at 11am and on Saturdays at 2pm in the Concert Hall.
The series has become very popular with patrons with full houses for most shows, so make sure you book your tickets early for the great concerts ahead in 2018!
Please join us from one hour prior to each performance, for a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.
The Sundial Café will also be open on the Piazza prior to each concert, serving a range of hot and cold beverages from $3. Light snacks will also be available for purchase from the café.  No bar facilities will be available during Musical Melodies concerts.

After their sell-out performance in 2015, Promac Productions is back with their unique version of the classic Gilbert and Sullivan musical ‘The Pirates of Penzance’. This swashbuckling performance is sure to have you singing along to the show’s smash hits and rolling in the aisles with a cast of six talented performers.With a sell-out show of their last appearance, tickets won’t last long. Make sure to book sooner rather than later for their final performance at RPAC.
I am a Pirate King, A Policeman’s Lot is Not a Happy One, With Cat Like Tread and Poor Wandering One are just a few of the hit songs beautifully performed in this hilarious production.
Starring Sharon Rowntree and Glenn Shields

Sharon Rowntree presents a show like never before in Tribute to the Stars. With sold-out performances of her previous shows, Dusty and the Divas and Legendary Ladies of Showbiz, this tribute to great duos in entertainment history, as well as famous movie and Broadway duets, is sure to delight.
Sharon will be joined on stage by well-known Gold Coast entertainer Glenn Shields, accompanied by the Sue Reid Band

Starring Greg Aspeling, Rhydian Lewis and Sebastiaan Scholtens

Greg Aspeling returns to RPAC after his sold-out performance of The Kings of Swing in 2016 and is joined by Rhydian Lewis and Sebastiaan Scholtens.
Together the trio will take to the stage as Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin. Backed by an eight-piece big band they will transport you back in time to the golden age of Ol’ Blue Eyes and his famous Rat Pack.

Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men brings together the exciting dance routines and fabulous songs of legendary performers in one glorious stage production.
Take a nostalgic trip with some of the most memorable music ever written including, The Way You Look Tonight, Pennies From Heaven, Be A Clown, Well Did You Evah, That’s Entertainment, Make ‘Em Laugh and many more.
Sing and tap along to some of the most memorable songs from the silver screen.
